About

This blog was created for the single woman by a single woman.

When you're in a relationship, it's natural that you put a good bit of your time into the other person. What's sad about this is that, when you break up with your significant other, you find that a great deal of your time has been put into someone that you no longer communicate with in any way. What do you do now?

First, you call your best girlfriend. You haven't seen her in months but she's always there when you need someone to listen to your most recent breakup story. She's been in your shoes, she knows what you're going through, and she would never judge you.

After you've vented to your girlfriend, what now? You probably want to go out. And, after you've realized that going home with that guy who bought you a 2 dollar beer at the bar isn't exactly what you want, you will probably realize that you just want to be around other single women who you can have a good conversation with.

While I can't make you a plethora of new friends on this blog, I do hope to help you single women out there find solace in realizing you aren't alone. There are tons of single women out there who have found happiness in being single. There are events in your city (I'll only be posting ones around Atlanta, sorry!!) that will allow you to mingle with other single women who simply just want to expand their group of friends. It's never easy making friends as an adult, especially when you've put so much into your significant other but now is the time to embrace your new status and to find the real you.

For you women that are in relationships: This blog is good for you too!  Just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean that you can't relate to a single women. You were there once too, remember? Being single is about embracing life, taking charge of what you need, and finding what makes you happy. It's about finding friendships and making them last. These are things that EVERY woman should do so join in! Eventually everyone will find happiness with a partner but the first step is finding happiness at home with yourself.
